ʿIlliyyūn
The high register in which the deeds of the righteous are recorded.
What it means
“Indeed, the record of the righteous is in ‘Illiyyun. And what will make you know what ‘Illiyyun is? A written record, witnessed by those brought near” (83:18–21). It contrasts with Sijjin, the register of the wicked (83:7–9).
