Group

A Sufi order founded by Najm al-Din Kubra (d. 1221) in Central Asia, which is also found among Muslims in China.

What it means

Najm al-Din Kubra of Khwarazm taught a method of remembrance with visions of colours and the stages of the soul, and died fighting the Mongols at the fall of Khiva. His order spread to Persia, India and China, where Dru Gladney found it small among the Hui.
