Group
A people named twice in the Quran as destroyed after rejecting their prophet; who they were is not known.
What it means
The Quran mentions “the companions of the Rass” with Noah’s people and Thamud and ʿĀd (25:38, 50:12). Rass means a well or pit. Commentators suggest different peoples and places, and none is certain.
