Elisha, a prophet named among the righteous (6:86, 38:48).
What it means
The Quran names him with Ishmael, Jonah and Lot among those “whom We favoured over the worlds” (6:86), and again among “the chosen and the best” (38:48). The stories of his miracles are not told in the Quran.
