The blessings Muslims add after the name of a prophet: “peace be upon him” (A.S., PBUH, ﷺ).
What it means
“God and His angels send blessings on the Prophet; O you who believe, send blessings on him and greet him with peace” (33:56). Muslims say it after the Prophet’s name (ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and “peace be upon him” (ʿalayhi al-salām) after other prophets. For Companions the phrase is raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu, “may God be pleased with him”.
